It was Motorola Xoom to be the first tablet to get Honeycomb 3.1, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will  have it pre-installed. ASUS and Acer have reported that they will be updating the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer and the Acer Iconia Tab A500 to Honeycomb 3.1 in June.

The update will bring performance improvement,UI enhancements including new task switcher, stretchable widgets and support for USB peripherals. There is no word on the exact date of the update.

The increasing competition in tablet race is urging the manufacturers to update their tablets with the latest version of the operating system, specially to compete with Apple ipad so most of the Honeycomb tablets should get the 3.1 update by the end of summer
