According to a tweet by developer @romainguy, the new Android 4.0 smartphone update will include functionality for both video game and USB controllers, allowing you to turn your Galaxy Nexus smartphone into a mobile games console.

The possibilities are endless. While many mobile game developers are out there, none have released a full-length game for Android or iOS that has the depth or gameplay of console games. The addition of console-style controllers can change everything. Sure, playing Angry Birds and Plants vs Zombies is amazing, but getting Call of Duty or Team Fortress 2 on your smartphone can potentially spring Android to the top ranks of a gaming phone.
