According to slides from an investor conference, the much hyped Asus Eee Pad Transformer and several other tablet devices will enter the market on November 9th. These tablet computers represent what is (hopefully!) the advent of Android software in popular competitors to the Apple iPad. However, these Eee Pad Transformers are slated to run Android Honeycomb, not the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The tablets are described as having a “real touch” feature touchscreen and easy keyboard typing thanks to the removable physical keyboard dock.
Several other slides point to the release of Windows 8 tablets later in 2012.
