ViewSonic is all set to release a low-end Android phone to the market which is christened as ViewPhone 3. ViewPhone 3 isn’t the first of its kind, from ViewSonic. But this handset is ViewSonic’s first in the smartphone category.

Mike Holstein, ViewSonic’s Product Manager, defines ViewPhone 3 as a handset for “value seekers”, as the handset has a very affordable price tag of $250. Reportedly, the ViewPhone 3 will be launched in Latin American markets and then will be released in United States. The handset will be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile networks in America.
ViewPhone 3 is likely to be launched in March and it is also reported that there will be successors of ViewPhone 3 with high end specifications. The successors are presumed to appear by mid 2012.
