CES 2012 at Las Vegas held a lot of surprises for gadget buffs. A lot of people left a couple of booths with big grins on their faces and excitement was in the air. One booth which was quite surprising was Aigo’s booth where they displayed two tablets running in the Android OS.

People wanted to get a look as it is quite well known that Aigo’s tablets are quite low priced. There were two tablets, known as M803 and M718 HD.

M803 Tab – Known features

  • 8 inch 1280 x 768 resolution display
  • 8 GB storage
  • 1 GHz Cortex-A9 dual-core processor
  • WiFi
  • VGA front camera
  • Android v4.0 OS

M718HD – Known features

  • 7 inch display with 800 x 480 pixels
  • 4.0 Android
  • 8 GB storage
  • 5 MP rear camera and 1.3 Front camera
  • 3G Radio
  • 1080p HD video playback support

The only disappointing thing is that M803 has some issues running the Android v4.0, although 3D gaming is fine in the tablet. M718HD seems to be more powerful, as Aigo didn’t even want to reveal its CPU. Aigo made it clear that the tabs will be very much affordable and feature rich.
