Few days back, Samsung announced the new ICS update for the Galaxy S II model. But now, they have now clarified that update would for the Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1 handsets. Samsung also added that this update would reach the Samsung users within few days itself.

Features including face unlock, photo editor, screenshots, and much more are included along with the new update.

As of now, Samsung has not included Tab 7.7 LTE or Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus to the recipient list of this ICS update. But the users of these models can hopefully expect for such a change in near future itself. The older Gingerbread Samsung handsets can look forward for the CyanogenMod. Update is expected to be available over the air as well as in app server. The models which need to wait still for getting the Android 4.0 update include S II, S II LTE, Galaxy R, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 7.7.
