These days all the big manufacturers are rolling out ICS updates for large number of ICS compatible devices. In the same frame of light, Sony has also started to kick off its initial round of Ice Cream Sandwich updates today. The update will be pushing over the next four to six weeks and for the time being would only be available for all the Scandinavian countries including Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Norway.

According to Sony the update would initially be released for the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Neo V and Xperia Ray. Sony says that it will have additional information on the next round of updates at a future point in time so for the time being if any of you have a Scandinavian Xperia, feel free to get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich (which by the way can only be installed on a Mac or PC and not directly through the phone. This kinda sucks if u ask me as most of the other manufacturers have given an option to download the update directly onto the device)

Here’s a complete list of phones for this round of updates.
