These days everything from televisions to mobile phones even MP3 players have gone sleek and thin. “Thin is In” has been the order of the day for quite a few companies who every now and then try to out-do each other with their own unique/creative ideas and designs when it comes to making these sleek and smart devices.

With that said, Oppo Electronics which is a Chinese based company have come up with the world’s thinnest smartphone called the “Oppo Finder”. That’s right folks this little piece of wonder is only 6.5mm thick (read thin) and has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core A15 processor, 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Now the main question which pops up in everyone’s mind is that whether this device is actually durable enough or not ? You wouldn’t want to carry a phone in your pockets just to see it snap into two now would you ? Not quite so.

The video demonstration shows exactly how durable this phone actually is and I must say its pretty impressive. The uber-thin device pounded a handful of nails into a 2×4, without a scratch, nick, or crack. Check out the video if you still don’t believe me:
