Android 4.1 JellyBean, the much awaited successor to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is finally available in Pakistan as an OTA (Over the air) update for the Google Nexus S. The update officially came out today on the International versions of the Google Nexus S in Pakistan. We got a chance to grab our hands on one of the devices which initially came pre-installed with the custom Android 2.3 Gingerbread but as soon as it was checked for any recent updates, the phone started receiving the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update first and as soon as it was installed, there was another update waiting in line; and to much of our delight,  it indeed  was Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean.

Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean arrives in Pakistan for Google Nexus S

Most recently, Google had mentioned a few devices which were in line to receive the update which included the Nexus, Nexus S, HTC One X and a few others. The list would slowly start increasing once the data carriers start rolling out the official update for their Jelly Bean compatible devices.
