Even though the current fiscal year hasn’t been (financially) boasting too well for HTC, it hasn’t stopped the Taiwanese mobile company to come up with some amazing new devices which are set to be released in the upcoming months. A few days ago there were rumors about a possible successor to HTC’s flagship phone of the year The One X called the One X+ and now there is another rumor about a possible phablet to be launched by HTC which seems to be a direct competitor to Samsung’s Galaxy Note.

The device which is currently just known as HTC 6435LVW is expected to feature a 5-inch 1794 x 1080 pixel resolution display, a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 SoC processor paired with an Adreno 320 GPU for running powerful 3D apps and games. The device which is expected to be launched somewhere in September or October is set to come pre-installed with Android ICS 4.0.4 with a possible upgrade to Android 4.1 JellyBean some time later. As mentioned earlier, these are still just rumors and nothing has been confirmed as yet. Till then, you guys should just stick around for any further updates.
