Google and Samsung are set to launch a revamped version of its most successful Android Smartphone to date, the Google Nexus. There are minor changes in the next model which is currently titled as the I9260 (Galaxy Nexus was I9250) which also suggests that it will be an improved version of the Galaxy Nexus.
The new Nexus will come bundled with a 1.5 GHz Dual Core Cortex A9 Processor which is a slight improvement from its predecessor which is clocked at 1.2 GHz, a 4.65″ SuperAMOLED HD display, an 8 MP camera (as compared to the 5 MP on the current model) at the back and a 1.9 MP (as compared to the 1.3 MP) one on the front. It also has 16gb of internal storage but this time Google promises to add support for a MicroSD card which was currently unavailable in the previous versions, the Google Nexus S as well as the Google Nexus.
This gives an extra incentive for the user to go for the device as the only criticism it fever faced was the inability to add additional Storage. The device which would come pre-installed with Android 4.1 JellyBean is expected to be announced later this year. Will keep you posted when it gets officially announced by Google and Samsung.
