Google recently released a research showing that most people in the USA have gone multiscreen, switching from smartphones to tablets to computers and now smart televisions. According to their report titled  “The New Multiscreen World: Undrstanding Cross-Platform Consumer Behaviour” 9 out of 10 people use a variety of screens, either one after the other or at times simultaneously.

The research showed that 77% of television viewers do so with another device in hand, often using tablets or smartphones for online searches inspired by what they see. How many times have you started reading an email on your phone while traveling, and continued it on your laptop when you came home? Another example would be that you just saw  a commercial for a brand new shiny Mercedes Benz and then used your phone or tablet to find out its specs .

If these things sound familiar, that is because they have become an integral part of our everyday lives, specially when it comes to multi-screen usage.
