Facebook for Android finally gets updated with bug fixes and a whole new UI
After weeks of customer complaints and a variety of different bugs, the Facebook app for Android has finally received a well deserved tweaking. The latest update for both the Messenger and the main Facebook App improves messaging by quite a distance. Facebook has now added a new Messenger Button within the upper-right-hand corner of the News Feed, for faster usage and for user’s to see who’s available for chatting from within the app.
Another major change worth mentioning here would be the revamped conversation interface which looks similar to the one seen in many of Apple’s iOS devices. The new interface promises to make everything look as simple and intuitive as possible with Facebook themselves claiming that it has always meant to make things “simpler” for users to distinguish between different conversation and at the same time knowing as to who’s saying what at a certain point in time.
Thus we can now safely say that Facebook have done a decent job with the new update making it slightly more reliable and at the same time more secure and stable which (hopefully) means fewer frustrating reboots and all those annoying little bugs which actually prompted its die-hard users to start hating it…..Seriously !!!
Features of the new Update:
– Swipe left anywhere in the app to quickly see who’s available and send a message
– Add friends you message most to the top of your Favorites
– Try texting with Messenger (currently only available on some phones)
– New design for conversations
– Improved speed and reliability
– Bug fixes
