Chrome for Android gets update

Google Chrome for Android has recently received a new update which includes a number of security enhancements and stability improvements to say the least. The new 18.0.1026311 update also adds compatibility with x86 devices which is good news for Android users having an Intel Atom powered device as they can now easily sync tabs between their multiplatform browser as well as benefiting from a number of other Chrome delights. The change-log in the new chrome update includes:

  • Location preference now integrated to system level Google apps location setting.
  • Youtube videos controls now work in full screen mode; videos continue playing after a screen lock/unlock
  • Fixes to make third-party IMEs work better with Chrome
Personally speaking Chrome has and still remains to be one of my favorites when it comes to Android browsers and it seems that with this update, Google are trying to strengthen their hold even further when it comes to mobile web browsers.
Which browser do you guys usually prefer to use and why ?
