Microsoft planning to launch Windows 8 smartphone in 2013
Microsoft has been one of the hot topics recently being discussed, as Windows 8 comes ever so closer to its launch. Recently some rumors are afloat that Microsoft is secretly working on its own Windows 8 smartphone. According to the rumors the phone will be competing directly with the Apple iPhone 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S3. As Windows 8 is going to be launched on Nokia and Samsung devices later this fall, Microsoft is planning to make its own device running its own software. The sources though have not given any detail on the smartphone’s development stage or when it may be coming out.
According to a report publish by China Times, Microsoft is getting ready to launch its very own Windows 8 smartphone and will be named under the “Surface” brand and will most likely be available in first quarter of 2013. Microsoft has high hopes for its multi platform OS, so to make a device worthy of it, will surely be something for us to look forward to.
