Galaxy S Advance gets Jelly Bean update

Samsung seems to like making people wait for their firmware updates be it  a smartphone or a tablet.  Though this time they surprised all of us by releasing the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update on the Galaxy S Advance way before the expected the time. It was originally supposed to come out by March 2013, but great news for the Galaxy S Advance users the updates have started to first come out in Russia, while the other countries will not be too far behind.

The OTA update brings to the device Jelly Bean features like Google Now , Project Butter and Samsung’s Touch Wiz UX UI. If you do not want to wait for the OTA update to come then you can install it via Samsung Kies. Below are the firmware details.
