Since its entry into the smartphone market, Micromax is well known for its versatile range of Android powered devices and with that said, the company have unveiled their greatest creation to-date in the form of the Micromax A116 Canvas HD. The flagship phone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6589 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2, Jelly Bean. The device also comes packed in a powerful 2100mAh battery and has a 5-inch HD IPS screen that supports HD resolution of 1280×720 and a colour depth of 16.7 million. According to an official company statement, the smartphone is expected to be available in the market in the first week of February and even though there has not been any clear cut indications regarding the price, we are anticipating it to be somewhere in the range of Indian Rs. 15 to 20,000.
