After the occurring rumors for the launch of the Galaxy S IV, Samsung have finally shed light on the launch date of their new flagship device. Samsung have put all the rumors to rest and confirmed that the world will see the launch of the Galaxy S IV in New York next month. Samsung’s mobile division boss J.K Shin revealed at the Mobile World Congress that, the much anticipated device will be launched at the Radio City Music Hall on March 14.
The Galaxy S IV is rumored to sport a 4.99-inch full HD 1080 display, a 1.9 GHz Snapdragon 600 processor and a 13 MP rear camera. It would also have 2 GB Ram and would come out of the box with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Samsung will be launching their smartphone in the U.S. after the launch of the original Galaxy S in 2010. The Galaxy S II and Galaxy S III were both launched in Barcelona and in London respectively.
Samsung’s Galaxy S IV will be the first handset Samsung unveils in the U.S. since the original Galaxy S was announced at CTIA in 2010. The critically acclaimed Galaxy S II was announced in Barcelona in 2011, and the current-generation Galaxy S III debuted in London last year.
