Vector – Parkouring its way onto Android
Fast paced runner games are the in-thing these days with every second person you come along either boasting about their highscores in Temple Run or their experiences with other similar looking games in the same genre. Now its time for you to get your fingers swiping yet again on another fast paced runner but this time it comes with a special twist ! Vector, which has been one of the most renowned games on Apple devices finally comes to Android. The actual beauty of the game lies within the different “Parkour” techniques which we have to adopt in order to out run the Agency (bad) guys who are hell bound to take you in for what you have done. We are not going to ruin the story by giving in any further spoilers, so if you want to get the actual taste of the game’s storyline its better if you try it out yourselves.
The game begins with a graphically impressive FMV which gives a brief intro of the storyline along with the actual purpose to the meaning-less looking running. The game which is sub-divided into a number of different levels have a common objective which is for you to get from one end of the mission to the other without getting caught and in order to do this, you need to master a whole bunch of parkour moves such as leaping over obstacles, sliding under water towers, breaking through glass doors, jumping over tall ledges etc. Some of the moves are unlocked from the beginning but most of them are locked and need to be purchased with the coins that you collect during your runs which makes the game more trickier but fun at the same time.
Overall the game is a visual treat for both casual and die-hard fans of the running games genre and a must have for all Android users. The game is available for free on the Google Play Store so do give it a try and share in your experience with us. Happy Parkouring !
