With the success of Google Now on Smartphones and Tablets running on Android 4.1+, the search giants are now shifting their focus onto bringing the marquee service to desktops and notebooks. That’s right guys from what we have come across today, it very much looks like a source code leaked out by Google giving hints about the possible arrival of Google Now on Windows and Macs pretty soon.

Google Now

The code which was found encrypted within a Chrome extension revealed the company’s intention to bring Google Now for desktop. The service  that gives information like weather, traffic conditions, movie and sports updates, nearby places etc are all stated to make their presence felt pretty soon on your desktops and Mac’s. Till now there is no official word as to exactly when we are getting the service but from our guesses we are expecting Google to unveil it at the upcoming Google I/O mega event commencing on May 15th.
