The HTC One since its launch has been highly regarded among few of the best Android smartphones currently available in the market but as they say, all good things come with a price ! Even though the HTC One comes packed with some of the most amazing features (including its software and hardware components), the price of the device is enough to burn a fairly decent hole in your wallet. Keeping that in mind, the Taiwanese company has recently just announced the new HTC Desire 600 which even though is no where near the HTC One, but it still manages to offer similar functionality like its elder brother and the best part is it would go a little bit easy on your wallet as well….if you know what I mean !
The HTC Desire 600 features a 4.5-inch SuperLCD 2 display with qHD resolution, Qualcomm’s 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor, 1G RAM, an 8 megapixel (and not UltraPixel as it was expected) rear camera that can shoot 720p video accompanied by a 1.6 megapixel front camera, HTC BoomSound with Beats Audio, dual-SIM capabilities and much more. The device running on Android 4.2 JellyBean (out of the box) would be featuring the new HTC Sense 5 along with Blinkfeed – a feature that is currently only available in the HTC One and is scheduled to arrive first in Russia, Ukraine and few other MEA territories sometime in June 2013 with rest of the countries to follow soon after.
From the look of things, the Desire 600 does promise to pack a punch from its sleek design to its multiple functionality and if HTC’s claims of it being a mid-range budget phone does turn out to be true, it will surely attract a wide range of customers who would be getting at-least a bite out of HTC One’s pie if not for the whole thing.
