News Republic

The HTC One has been creating headlines since it was first announced by the Taiwanese company earlier this year and the one distinguished feature that has everyone talking about is Blinkfeed, HTC’s latest addition to its customized UI family which they like to term it as the HTC Sense. Blinkfeed like the name suggests, is a new and exciting way to stay updated with everything that is happening in the world by giving customized previews of any news that you would be interested to know ranging from sports to business to politics to economies etc. The best part about Blinkfeed is that it lights up your homescreen with articles, photos, social networking updates and much more without stressing out the device’s battery too much.

Unfortunately not everybody can make good use of this feature until and unless ofcourse you’re one of those lucky people who actually tend to own one of these truly amazing devices which have left many other OEM’s gasping for air….Literally !! So for those of you (including myself) who currently do not own  an HTC One can also get a taste of what the actual Blinkfeed feature has to offer. We recently came across this wonderful looking app developed by MobilesRepublic (the same people who have brought us the likes of Appy Geek, Sports Republic etc) called the News Republic which gives you quite a satisfying if not an almost similar approximation of the actual Blinkfeed experience.
