Rumors were that the Samsung was going to launch Android 4.2.2 for the Galaxy SIII and Galaxy Note II. The update was going to show up in July but now it has been further delayed to November. Now this set back may turn out to be a blessing in disguise as new rumors are stirring that the delay is caused by Samsung working on Android 4.2.2 as well as Android 4.3 for the Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Note II and the Octa version of the Galaxy S4.
It would be a really nice pre-Christmas gift, if Samsung are able to launch the Android 4.3 OS till November or maybe December. Some of the highlights of Android 4.3 are Bluetooth LE, Wi-Fi Always Scanning and new notifications bar, so if Android 4.3 really is the cause of the delay, then the wait will be worth it.
If those of you who wanted to try Android 4.2.2 for their Galaxy S3 they still can, then worry not thanks SamMobile you can download the leaked Android 4.2.2 firmware from the download link below.
