Samsung at their Berlin Unpacked Event 2013 introduced three extra-ordinary devices, the Galaxy Note 3, the Galaxy Gear and the Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 edition). Samsung in the past have come with decent tablets, but nothing comes even close to the new Galaxy Note 10.1. The new Galaxy 10.1 has received some major spec upgrades and seeing how Samsung have gone pretty much all out with the new tablet it is safe to say it will definitely not be cheap.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a faux-leather back, which gives it a very classy look especially the black variant. The layout is pretty similar to the Galaxy Note 3 and this one even has a home key on the bezel. The Galaxy Note 10.1 under the hood is a beast of a tablet, thanks to the 1.9Ghz Exynos Octa-Core processor/ 2.3 Ghz Quad Core processor (4G variant) and 3GB of RAM. Memory is not going to be a issue either as the tablet comes in 16/32/64 GB of internal memory with a memory card slot for upto 64GB of storage. The sound quality has been improved allowing for 14 bit sound at 192KHz, which is quite impressive.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 has a Super Clear WQXGA LCD with a whopping 2560×1600 display resolution. The outstanding resolution offers you the utmost viewing experience. Full HD contents are fully supported without compromising quality. Every image and video is displayed more vividly and more sharply and that truly is no exaggeration.
It has all the features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 including the improved S pen with its various new features such as Pen Window and Scrapbook. Whats different about the tablet is the lock screen and the camera, the Galaxy Note 10.1 has a 8MP shooter at the back and a 2MP front camera. Samsung have introduced a Magazine UX for the lock screen which means You can create your own menu screen by pinning your most used and loved apps, websites, videos, files, and folders to your screen.
