The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 and 10.1 models both come with Android 4.2.2 out of the box, but strangely they do not have one feature which came last year with the Android 4.2 release and that is multi-user support. Google already had it on its Nexus 10 tablet but Samsung did not have it, in any of its Tabs. Fret not, according to a test release we can confirm that Samsung will be rolling out an update which will bring multi-user support to both versions of the tablets.
This feature is very helpful for those that share their tablet with others especially when your kids want to play a game on it and your worried about an important image or file being deleted. This parental control update came with Android 4.3 earlier this year. As this is only a test build we can not confirm when this will get rolled out as Samsung themselves have not confirmed it yet. The pictures show this feature but according to Sammobile this is still only a test release. The update which brings in multi-user support might not be bringing that only and would come with other updates as well but we’ll have to wait for a bit for that.
