Android Kit Kat

Google has promised to give us two huge surprises before the year ends and by now you must have already guessed what we are talking about. Right? The magical moment for which the whole world has been anxiously waiting for almost a year is expected to finally arrive on October 14th at the Big Bang event in UK. Sources close to us have revealed that Google are all set on unveiling the new Nexus 5 (hopefully) running on the recently announced  Android 4.4 KitKat. If that’s not all for you to start getting excited about, we’ve got some more awesome news as well. The search giants are also anticipating on a possible unveiling of the new and improved 2013 edition of their stock Android running Tablet, the Google Nexus 10.

Nexus 5

So far we have managed to get hold of some of the expected specs of the much awaited Nexus 5 which are most certain to leave everyone quite excited. The mid to high-range phone will pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor chip and features a 5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 resolution using Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology. The Nexus 5 is expected to come with a 13 megapixel rear camera having some unique shooting features along with a 2 megapixel front camera. As far as the hardware goes, the Nexus 5 is expected to come bundled with either 2 or 3GB RAM, 2700mAh battery, and the Adreno 330 GPU (currently found in the iPhone 5S). What waits to be seen now is whether Google are planning to stick with LG who was the OEM of its predecessor the Nexus 4 or they have some other manufacturer in mind this time.

Till now these are still just rumors which would be confirmed once the event kicks off on October 14th. Stick around for further details. Cheers !
