The Galaxy Gear has really increased the anticipation of people for upgrading their smartphones to Android 4.3. The Galaxy S4 was the first device after the Note 3 to get the update, with leaked builds coming out for the Galaxy Note II as well. Next in line to get taste of Android 4.3 is the Galaxy S III and thanks to our friends at SAMMOBILE we got our hands on Android 4.3 for the Galaxy SIII. Now it is to be noted that Samsung jumped the gun when it came to software updates for the Galaxy SIII meaning, the Galaxy SIII never saw the light of Android 4.2 and got directly updated from Android 4.1.2 to 4.3.
The update brings a lot of changes to the core UI but sadly the widgets and the TouchWiz launcher seem to remain the same. (Personally was hoping Samsung to make a complete overhaul of the TouchWiz UX UI for the Galaxy SIII). The Settings menu has been completely changed though, now having a “tab layout” similar to the one found on the S4 and Note 3.
