Google have added a host of new exciting features in its recently launched Nexus 5 running on Android 4.4, KitKat. One such significant feature worth mentioning is the new and improved Google voice search with advanced voice recognition and quick response capabilities. According to our esteemed sources, Google are all set to release an update for Google voice having the same features found in the Nexus 5 on November 13. Most recently we saw updates rolled out for Google Hangouts and the Google Keyboard which also added a bunch of new features such as instant emoji, SMS integration etc.
Some of the new additions in the voice search update include the ability to ask its user’s direct questions once a query has been entered. For example, when you tell the app to call or text Daraius, it’s going to ask you which Daraius from your contact list and then carry out the command. Sounds pretty cool doesn’t it. Other features include the ability for the app to search inside other apps, launch them and even perform different tasks that are associated with the apps. Google Now has also been updated with “location information” which informs user’s about their surroundings, for example if you’re standing outside the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, it will tell you exactly when the next dancing fountain show is about to happen.
User’s would surely welcome these new additions with open arms since the new voice features would certainly make it quite easy to get things done on their phones, phablets and tablets. The update will start rolling out on all devices running Android 4.1+ starting from Wednesday so once you’re done updating it, do try and share in your experiences with us. Cheers!
