Android 4.4 KitKat for HTC One starts rolling out for US carriers
We’ve got good news for all our HTC One owners in the US since as of today, HTC’s flagship device has started receiving the highly anticipated Android 4.4 KitKat update. According to the company’s official twitter page, the Sensified (running the latest version of HTC Sense) version of Android KitKat is being rolled out for all major US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. All devices affiliated with these network carriers should start getting their updates within this coming week.
The update that includes the new HTC Sense 5.5 promises to bring some improvements to Blinkfeed, HTC Zoe and a couple of bug fixes. Other devices to get updated to KitKat are also in the Pipeline but for now, no official release dates are known. We’ll keep you guys posted once the official news is out.
