Unofficial specs of Nokia’s first Android device code named “Normandy Nokia X” unveiled
Its been almost a month since the rumors regarding Nokia’s first Android device code-named the Nokia Normandy (also known as the Nokia X) emerged that raised quite a few eyebrows mostly due to the fact that Nokia through out the years has been keeping their distance when it comes to adopting Android for their devices but now it seems that the tides might be about to get turned sooner rather than later. According to a few reports coming in from various sources, the Finnish cellular giants could very well be unveiling one of their most awaited devices as early as February 24th.
As mentioned earlier, the device is expected to fall under the “budget phone” category which means that you probably would not have to burn a large hole in your wallets if you are planning on grabbing one. Here are some of the rumored specs that have just surfaced:
- 1GHz Dual Core Snapdragon processor
- 4-inch WVGA display (480 x 800)
- 512MB of RAM
- 4GB of internal storage w/ microSD
- 5 megapixel camera
- 1,500mAh battery
- dual-SIM option
The device is expected to launch in 6 eye candy colors, one of Nokia’s main attractions when it comes to their range of trendy looking smartphones of the last few years. Even though these are still just rumors, we have a strong feeling that the device might just be on its way in the upcoming weeks. Will keep you guys posted once the news gets official so till then do stick around for more details.
