Samsung launches The Galaxy Note 3 Neo – A new Phablet in the Note Family
Samsung Poland has finally launched the long awaited Galaxy Note 3 Neo and its LTE brother as well. The device looks exactly like the original Note 3, but if you put them side by side the Note 3 Neo is a bit smaller. The S Pen is the same in the Neo with all its functions, similar to that of the bigger version.
The Galaxy Note 3 Neo has a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED 720p display as opposed to the 5.7 inch 1080p display of the original. When you peak under the hood the LTE+ version is powered by Samsung’s new Hexa-Core Chipset (Two 1.7GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex A7 cores). While the non LTE version will be running a 1.6GHz Quad-Core Cortex-A7 processor.
The Note 3 Neo has a 8 MegaPixel shooter at the back of the device with a BSI sensor, also having 1080p video recording capabilities and a 2 MegaPixel front camera. The phablet has 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage (11GB useable). The most important part of any device is the battery and Samsung have done justice to it with providing a powerful 3100 mAh battery pack. The phablet will be coming with Android 4.3 out of the box, with KitKat soon to follow.
The phablet weighs around 162.5 grams which is a tad lighter than the original and will be coming initially in three colors, White, Black and Green. Will be interesting to see the Green version of the phablet, wonder how it will look? The rest of the specs include Bluetooth 4.0 , NFC, IR Blaster so on and so forth. The device is expected to be available by March, so are you guys going for this new phablet?
