Android 4.4.2 Test Firmware Leaked for The Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)
Samsung have been raring up for the launch of their 2014 flagship the Galaxy S5, but that does not mean that they have forgotten their previous top tier smartphone the Galaxy S4. Thanks to Sammobile we were able to get a leaked Android 4.4.2 Test firmware for the international version of the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). The firmware I9505XXUFNAD is the latest test build for the Galaxy S4 and seems to be quite stable, per say a few bugs.
The update brings with it all the usual suspects of Android 4.4.2 KitKat, making the icons in the status bar white, adding a camera shortcut on the lockscreen etc. The device according to benchmarks has received quite a nice performance boost after the update, though you might not feel much difference (As it is already a very powerful device). Music albums on the lock screen will be shown in full screen mode, so that looks really nice. One of the note-able changes though is of the Samsung keyboard, somehow typing on it (including via gestures) has become really fast. Well dont take my word for it, if you a feeling adventures they download the update now and see how it is yourself!
