Google’s affordable smart phone initiative called Android One has been the talk of  the town lately. Partnering with major OEM’s such as HTC, ASUS, Acer, Panasonic and Lenovo to bring affordable smartphones to developing countries. Indian OEM’s such as Micromax, Spice and Karbonn have also joined the cause and have already come up with the first Android One Devices.

 Now lets have a quick look at the first three Android One smartphones.

All the three devices have a similar look and also have the exact same specifications, a 4.5-inch (854X480 pixels, 218 ppi) IPS LCD FWVGA,a Mediatek 1.3GHz Quad-Core Processor, 1GB RAM, 5MP back and a 2MP front shooter. The battery on all the devices is a 1700mAh battery which does last the whole day on average use. The internal memory is 4GB and a microSD card upto 32GB is also supported.

The prices vary a bit for all the three devices. The Spice Dream UNO is the cheapest of the lot selling for 6299 Indian Rupees, the Karbonn Sparkle is next at 6399 Indian Rupees and finally the Micromax Canvas A1 is for 6499 Indian Rupees. So, they all come in the $105 bracket, which Google has promised.
