Samsung, as of today has started rolling out press invites for their next big Unpacked event to be held on March 1st, a day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) that kicks off in Barcelona, Spain. From what we see from the first teaser picture released by the South Korean tech giants is a “curved” design along with the words “What’s Next” mentioned. What needs to be seen now is the fact that whether Samsung decides to launch a separate curved variant of its long running range of the flagship GALAXY S series or are they intending to launch the GALAXY S6 itself in a curved shape unlike its predecessors? We’ll have to wait for either another teaser or for the main event to find out for sure.
For now, there are strong rumors about the company’s next flagship device to sport a 5.1-5.3-inch screen, an Exynos 7420 SoC (and if various rumors are correct, we might be treated to the much anticipated Snapdragon 810 version running on the 64 bit architecture), fingerprint sensor, and up to 4GB of on-board RAM besides a 20 mega-pixel camera. The flagship device is expected to be launched in two variants which would include the all new GALAXY S Edge with a dual edge display. See you guys on March 1st till then do stick around for more updates. Cheers !!
