LG announce their new sleek formal wear smartwatch – The G Watch Urbane
Following the successful launch of the LG G Watch R, the South Korean tech giants have another major surprise in store for us at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. As per an official company announcement, LG are all set to announce the LG G watch Urbane, their latest entrant in their impressive line of “G” series smart watches all running on Google Android Wear. The elegant and quite sleek looking all-metal smart watch is catered towards those who opt for luxury and style over a more robust and sporty looking variant like its predecessor the G Watch R. The LG G Watch Urbane features a circular design, comes clad in gold or silver color options with a (easily replaceable) 22mm leather band, and has a neat-looking dial on the side. The LG G Watch Urbane can be your perfect companion at any formal event or social gathering.
As far as the devices tech specs are concerned, the Urbane sports almost the same components found in the G watch R that include a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, a 1.3-inch P-OLED Display (320 x 320, 245ppi), 4GB of internal memory, 512MB LPDDR2 RAM, an IP67 certification and a 410mAh battery. The watch is currently available in two color variants gold and silver. For now the pricing and availability is still unknown but with the MWC 2015 just around the corner, we’ll be getting all the details pretty soon so do stick around for more. Cheers !!
