Pepsi P1

Android devices are a dime a dozen these days, so when a new one launches we normally look for what new features or hardware power it brings. Today, though its not the case, a new Android device is supposed to launch, but from the most unlikeliest brand, PepsiCo. The Android smartphone is named the Pepsi P1 and is supposed to launch for only the China market on 20th October.

Pepsi P1

Rumors of this device have been buzzing the internet, but it was Mobipicker who first came up with the news and we thank them for it. We do not know which OEM has actually built the Pepsi P1 but for around $200 the specs are pretty decent. What you get is

Pepsi P1 Specs

  • 5.5-inch 1080p display
  • 1.7GHz quad-core processor
  • 2GB RAM
  • 16GB internal storage
  • 3,000mAh battery
  • 13MP/5MP cameras
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • 7.62mm thin metal body

So, if Pepsi has come up with its very own branded device, its competitors (Yes, I mean Coke) might be inclined to the same. That being said, would you buy a smartphone made by Pepsi? Maybe the collector in you would. Do let us know what you think about it.
