YouTube has been recently adding new features to its mobile versions with one significant addition being the auto-play video feature similar to what we see in the web version of the world’s most popular video sharing site. Many people, including myself felt a bit annoyed with the auto play feature but thankfully you do get an option to disable it from the app’s settings. Starting today, YouTube will be testing out a new messenger like feature which lets users communicate with each other privately and also directly share videos without the need of sharing just the videos URL. The company feels that by integrating the messaging option into its native application will allow users to easily share videos with friends and family while at the same time drop in a message or two as well. For now, the new messaging feature is currently available for testing among few selected users and will be available to all in the next update.
