If the Pokémon Go craze wasn’t enough to make most heads spin, there is another app which has been creating waves since the last few days. Prisma, which has been around for quite some time now on iOS devices, has finally made its way onto Android.

For those of you who are not familiar with the app, Prisma transforms your photos into artworks using the styles of famous artists: Munk, Picasso as well as world famous ornaments and patterns. A unique combination of neural networks and artificial intelligence helps you turn memorable moments into timeless art. Rather than applying a filter which changes the color, saturation, exposure and contrast of a photo, Prisma uses proprietary algorithms to analyze your photos and gives you the option to apply nearly 40 different art styles.

My personal favorite is the material design style that blends perfectly on devices that are running on Android Lollipop and above. For those of you who want to bring out your inner artiste should definitely give this app a try. Prisma is available for free on the Google Play Store and has already received more than 71k reviews in the first two days since its launch. So what do you guys think about this new app? Do share your experiences with us in the comments below. Cheers!
