S8

Through out the years, we have seen Samsung come up with innovations that have been nothing but exemplary. Year after year, the South Korean tech giants made sure to bring something new to the table. The year 2016 however proved to be a huge challenge following the (unfortunate) Galaxy Note 7 fiasco due to which the company had to incur huge losses not just financially but also publicly as the company’s image was at stake. That being said, the latest entrant in the long running Galaxy S lineup of Samsung’s flagship devices, the Galaxy S8 is here to change the company’s faltering image.

After months of speculations and a host of leaked images, the much awaited device has finally been launched that promises to right whatever the wrongs done by the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung in an event recently held in New York announced two variants of its flagship device the Galaxy S8 and its larger compatriot, the Galaxy S8+

Both the devices have been completely overhauled as far as the design is concerned with Samsung opting to remove its traditional home button  and replacing it with an onscreen haptic touch button. Besides the removal of the home button, the Galaxy S8 is the first Samsung device to come with a complete bezel less curved display. Samsung (as in previous years) has put significant emphasis on the display which is one area where the company truly excels in. Following the success of the brilliant AMOLED and Super AMOLED displays, the Galaxy S8 now comes with the all new Infinity Display. The display sets a new standard for uninterrupted, immersive experiences. It enables an expanded screen size without necessitating a larger phone. So while the view is grander, Galaxy S8 and S8+ feel small in your hand, making them easy to hold and use.

Both the devices are available in five exciting colors Midnight Black, Orchid Gray, Coral Blue, Arctic Silver and Maple Gold and would start retailing at all major stores starting from April 21st for an approximate price of $750 for the S8 and $850 for the S8 Plus. Let us now take a closer look at all the exciting features offered by Samsung’s flagship devices in these hands on videos
