CES 2017 kicks off today in Las Vegas and we simply cannot wait to see what exciting gadgets the different companies have in store for us. Kingston for example decided to make a major announcement a day earlier when the company announced the new DataTraveler Ultimate GT which is the world’s first 2TB USB flash drive. The sleek looking device sports a flashy design with a zinc-alloy metal casing, which the company claims improves shock resistance. The drive has the capacity to store 70 hours of 4K video content. “With the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, we empower users to increase their data storage mobility in a highly manageable form factor,” Jean Wong, Kingston’s Flash business manager, said in a news release. “This is a terrific follow up to our 1TB drive released in 2013, and by doubling the capacity, users can store and carry even larger amounts of data easily.” Along with a 2TB model, the DataTraveler Ultimate GT also comes in a 1TB capacity. Google is all set to launch Android Wear 2.0 and two new Smartwatches at CES 2017

Google are all set to announce two new Smartwatches at the upcoming CES 2017 next month in Las Vegas. Details of which have been kept a hush hush but what we do know for a fact is that both the devices would be operating on the all new Android Wear 2.0 which promises to add a bunch of new exciting features. The most prominent additions to Android Wear 2.0 is the support for standalone apps which don’t require your smartphone, support for Android Pay and support for Google’s voice-activated Assistant that can be currently found in the Pixel devices. The update is also scheduled to arrive on a bunch of newer devices but for those of you who have older devices like the original Moto 360  or the ASUS ZenWatch are (unfortunately) not supported due to their hardware limitations most noticeable being the absence of NFC which is required for Android Pay to work. The devices that are scheduled to receive the Android Wear 2.0 update include the following: Moto 360 Gen 2 Moto 360 Sport LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE LG Watch Urbane LG G Watch R Polar M600 Casio Smart Outdoor Watch Nixon Mission Tag Heuer Connected Fossil Q Wander Fossil Q Marshal Fossil Q Founder Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch Huawei Watch Huawei Watch Ladies Asus ZenWatch 2 Asus ZenWatch 3 Even though we were  left a bit saddened by the fact that the Moto 360 would not be getting the update since that was our very first Android Wear device, it does give us an added incentive to treat ourself to any of the aforementioned or maybe even one of the new upcoming Google devices this holiday season. Will keep you guys posted on this in the weeks to...
