Jason Voorhees coming to Mortal Kombat X Mobile

Jason Voorhees coming to Mortal Kombat X Mobile

Who doesn’t like a nice Hack and Slash game this time of the year. Mortal Kombat X mobile has just teased their next challenge tower and who better to haunt the Mortal Kombat world this Halloween than the legendary ice hockey mask wearing, machete wielding killer himself – Jason Voorhees. Normally the people at WB studios, launch new character challenges in sets of 3. So, if Jason is the first then who are the other two? Any guesses? We would not be surprised if any old character comes back with new variant, such the case with Kold War Sonya Blade. Well, we will just have to wait for the update to come. Till then enjoy the next challenge – most probably it is the Ronin Kenshi one (which they had delayed somehow and gave us a 5 day Flaming Fist Liu Kang challenge instead, strange?) If you have not played the game yet, then head over to the Google Play Store and start giving those awesome X-Ray...

Samsung launches Game Tuner – Helps Tweak game resolution and frame rate

Samsung launches Game Tuner – Helps Tweak game resolution and frame rate

Gaming has really evolved on android smartphones, with games such as God Fire: Rise of Prometheus, Need for Speed: No Limits and Mortal Kombat X. These games require plenty of hardware to run smoothly and without any frame rate drops. Samsung today have come up with an app called “Game Tuner”. What it does is, enable you to manually increase or decrease the game’s resolution and frame rate. This will be really exciting for gamers, who want to enhance their experience on bigger display devices. Not only that, but lowering the settings, means less GPU usage and longer battery life. All this is well and good, but sadly there is a catch. This app is currently supporting only two devices Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+. Future updates will add, the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, but you will have to wait a bit for it. Samsung will slowly start adding more Galaxy devices to the list but hope Samsung, lets other OEM devices to be supported as well *fingers crossed*. Wouldn’t that be awesome? So, if you are one those lucky people who owns the supported devices then head over to the Google Play Store and give it a go. Download: Game...

Clash of Clans gets Major Update – Level 5 Dragon, Dark Spell Factory and Much More

Clash of Clans gets Major Update – Level 5 Dragon, Dark Spell Factory and Much More

Clash of Clans is still one of the most played games on Android. Even after such a long time still it is the Top grossing Android App on the Play Store. Today they came out with a massive update called “Summer update 2015”. This update has almost 8 New Features which will rekindle the spark of many vintage players. Level 5 Dragons (at TH10) 2nd Air Sweeper Unit Dark Elixir Spell Factory Poison Dark Spell Earthquake Dark Spell Haste Dark Spell (Rage without the power increase) Two New Leagues Resource Storage immune to lightning spells Army Train Button (no more searching for Barracks) more Well the above list is most of the major updates you can find in the game.  Other than that the troops pictures have been visually upgraded with a new look to player profile as well. Not only that training troops has never been much easier with the new troop training interface. Spells can be “brewed” even after the spell factory is full, so for example you can make 4 spells normally before, now you can make 8, so as soon as the spells get used in battle, they will be quickly available for the next match (similar to troop training when army camps get full). Not only that, their brewing time has been reduced as well, Heal spells can now be made in just 20 min. The Dark Factory which is now available from Town Hall 8, and it brings with it 3 new spells, Poison, Earthquake and Haste. A max Town Hall 10 player can carry up to 11 dark spells, so that will make things pretty interesting.  The Poison spell is  more effective than a lightning spell to take out CC troops including dragons or Heroes. Earthquake spell is used to finish off buildings and walls and the haste spell, well as the name suggests makes the troops insanely fast. This will come in pretty handy considering there is now a 2nd Air Sweeper available from Town Hall 9. The best part about the update is that Spells, Any Spells do not effect storage’s anymore! So no more pesky lightning spells on Dark Elixir storage’s and running away. Two New Leagues have been introduced as well called Titan and Legendary. An all new Legendary tournament (5000+ trophies) has also been introduced for the top players only. This is definitely one of the biggest updates we have seen since last summer when the Lava Hound was introduced. So what do you guys think about the update? Download the game for free from the Play Store – Clash of...

Get those Fatalities going with Mortal Kombat X now available for Android

Get those Fatalities going with Mortal Kombat X now available for Android

When it comes to one on one fighting games, the very first name to come in mind would be Mortal Kombat. The highly acclaimed (and quite brutal) combat game has been around since almost two decades now and is still continuing to stride even further. With that said, NetherRealm Studios who recently launched the latest addition to the long running MK series titled Mortal Kombat X on next gen consoles and PC  has finally brought the franchise on hand held devices for the very first time. Even though the mobile version of the game got released a couple of weeks ago for iOS devices, Android fans were anxiously waiting to get their hands on the much awaited game on their devices as well. Well guys the wait is finally over as the game is now available on Google Play as a free download. Now before you guys start getting all excited and pumped up let us just remind you that the combat system in this game is similar to the one found in earlier releases such as Injustice and the highly acclaimed Marvel Contest of Champions and not like the traditional MK games that include a lot of button smashing .  The actual fighting in the game revolves around mashing the screen to attack and using a vast array of swipe gestures. Visually, the game is absolutely stunning to say the least! Each character has been individually designed to perfection catered with all their special abilities and moves including X-Rays and some of the goriest looking fatalities ever seen in a Mortal Kombat game. As mentioned earlier, the game is somewhat similar to Injustice: Gods Among Us with the actual characters based on a cards system that level up as you play more. With each additional victory, the player gets rewarded with either golden or silver Koins and Souls which can be used as currency in the game to purchase new moves and unlocking additional characters. The game also supports an online multi-player option that lets you play against other players in the all new Faction Wars Mode, or by summoning other players’ cards for use during your battles. Mortal Kombat X for Android requires a minimum 2GB of RAM with at least 1.5GB of free space to run smoothly. The game is only available in selected countries for now, so if you can’t find it on the Play Store ,you can directly download it from the link below. Happy Kombating !!!  Download: Mortal Kombat...

Get ready for the ultimate battle between the AutoBirds and the DeceptiHogs in Angry Birds Transformers

Get ready for the ultimate battle between the AutoBirds and the DeceptiHogs in Angry Birds Transformers

Rovio never ceases to amaze us now does it!! The company behind our ever loving (and always angry) slinging birds, have outdone themselves yet again. This time they have decided to take the Angry Birds to a whole new level. In collaboration with Hasbro, the company behind the famous Transformers franchise, Rovio have decided to come up with their very own version of an Angry Birds Transformers game which is scheduled to arrive soon. With the release of the next big Transformers blockbuster titled  Transformers – The age of Extinction just around the corner, this would be the perfect time for Rovio to make their move.     So far the only thing that Rovio and Hasbro have announced is that the new game will be called Angry Birds Transformers, which will see a team of vigilant Autobirds taking on a horde of evil Deceptihogs. Sounds like a lot of fun and knowing Rovio’s history with converting movie franchises into their long running finger slinging games, this new entree does seem to be a step in the right direction for the company who have happened to lost their strive a bit in recent times especially with competition in the handheld gaming category on an all time high these days. Prior to this, the company have successfully launched Angry Birds Rio and Angry birds Star Wars that were both based on the hit movie franchises. The game is set to arrive on all major handheld platforms but as of now there has not been a particular timeline as to exactly when we could get our hands on it. Hopefully that day isn’t too far. Will keep you guys updated once the game is officially made available on Google Play so do stick around till then. Cheers...
