Imangi studios gave us the acclaimed game Temple Run, which took the world by storm. Now, they have finally come up with a sequel to it, “Temple Run 2”. The game builds on its predecessor with some extreme graphic  improvements. The game has been built from scratch in order to really expand its horizons. Temple Run 2 is built on the Unity engine, which gives some really eye catching textures. Temple Run 2 looks entirely different yet it retains its essence which made the original such a success. Angry Birds Space Gets 30 New Water Filled Levels

Angry Birds Space Gets 30 New Water Filled Levels

The day Angry Birds went on an interstellar journey to rescue their beloved eggs, they have not looked back. Angry Birds Space was the  Best Mobile Game of 2012 as well, bringing us a new Ice Bird as well. Now Angry Birds Space just got an update and the birds have landed in a galaxy whose planets are filled with water.  The new water physics used is very fluid as you would expect  an Angry Bird game to be. This sure makes some shots really tricky but fun to do. The 1.4.0 update brings with it 30 new levels, including three new power ups, Flock of Birds, Space Egg, and Pig Puffer. Well Flock of Birds is exactly what the name suggests, a flock of Angry birds are launched on the unsuspecting Piggies. The Space Egg power up, creates a huge Black Hole which sucks in everything in its vicinity and finally the Pig Puffer, well you just try it out to see what it does, trust me you will not regret it. One thing to be kept in mind is that developers at Rovio specifically mentioned to notice what happens when the Ice Bird or the Pig Puffer hits the water. The game is available for free on the Play Store, as well as an ad free paid version for only $ 0.99. So what are you waiting for? Go on ahead and enjoy getting those...

Nvidia in one of their Live online pre-CES Press Conferences announced their new handheld Android Gaming Console called “The Shield” running on Android’s latest OS, Jelly Bean.         The Tegra 4 powered device which was not supposed to be unveiled before tomorrow made its early debut in the Press Conference when the company (accidentally) announced it as the project’s code-name  first calling it “Project Thor”, then revising it to “Project Shield”, and finally unveiling it as simply “Shield”. The name comes due to the pop up screens shape and the shield it self is customizable- because they’re hoping you have several devices under one roof.     Nvidia have referred the device as a “set top box” which can be easily carried around by the user. Till now,  Nividia was only focusing on the manufacturing of its Tegra Range of powerful handheld processors and GPU’s but now it seems that with this newly announced device, the company are trying to further diversify its product range specially in the field of handheld gaming. Modern Combat 4 takes FPS on Android to a whole new level

Gameloft  have outdone themselves yet again with the launch of their highly anticipated game of 2012, Modern Combat 4 Zero Hour. The fourth installment in the highly successful FPS series takes us in the heart of present day war scenarios in which we are assigned to bring back President Burke who has been abducted by an American ex Green Beret turned traitor named Edward Page.  The thrills do not just end here though as we are also given a chance to experience the entire events of the game through the eyes of Edward Page as well.     Modern Combat 3 was not only known for  its addictive game-play but also for the absolutely breath taking graphics which it had to offer. If that had left you all impressed, wait till you lay your eyes on MC4. Gameloft has raised the bars in terms of graphics, introducing amazing visuals and special effects courtesy of the new Havok Engine which gives you console like graphics in the palm of your hands. Enemies can be seen blown across battlefields with dynamic rag-doll physics, objects reacting to bullet fire in remarkable detail, and vehicles that respond more realistically across terrain.        The best part of the Modern Combat franchise besides the action filled gameplay and visuals is its multiplayer mode. MC4 comes with a fully redesigned multiplayer experience with new online profiles, customized weapon configurations, and online leader boards. The game is now available on the Play Store for $6.99 and trust me  when I say this, your money would most certainly be well spent here....
