Samsung’s new S-Circle Fitness Band pops up at FCC

Samsung’s new S-Circle Fitness Band pops up at FCC

Samsung are not the company to sit quietly after launching something break through. The Gear Fit was one of their top launches at the MWC this year. According to sources, they are working on a lower budget version of that device. This new fitness band is called “S-Circle”. Now the reason for it to be cheaper is that it will not house a display, so we are inclined to think that it may be something similar to the S Band. (The above picture is of the S Band ) The S band was an activity tracker, which sent information such as steps taken and heart rate etc. straight to the Galaxy S4 which was released in 2013 but it didn’t seem to be successful. So maybe Samsung are giving it one more try with as a Galaxy S5 accessory. The device was spotted at FCC (Federal Communications Commission) but no pictures are yet available. Though one confirm news is that it connects with Bluetooth-LE. Will have to wait for an official announcement from Samsung to get more details, well till then you can read up on our Gear Fit piece. We shall get you more info as soon as it rolls...

Android 4.4.2 Test Firmware Leaked for The Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505)

Samsung have been raring up for the launch of their 2014 flagship the Galaxy S5, but that does not mean that they have forgotten their previous top tier smartphone the Galaxy S4. Thanks to Sammobile we were able to get a leaked Android 4.4.2 Test firmware for the international version of the Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). The firmware I9505XXUFNAD is the latest test build for the Galaxy S4 and seems to be quite stable, per say a few bugs.   The update brings with it all the usual suspects of Android 4.4.2 KitKat,  making the icons in the status bar white, adding a camera shortcut on the lockscreen etc. The device according to benchmarks has received quite a nice performance boost after the update, though you might not feel much difference (As it is already a very powerful device).  Music albums on the lock screen will be shown in full screen mode, so that looks really nice. One of the note-able changes though is of the Samsung keyboard, somehow typing on it (including via gestures) has become really fast.  Well dont take my word for it, if you a feeling adventures they download the update now and see how it is yourself! Model: GT-I9505 Country: Open Europe Version: Android 4.4.2 Changelist: 481100 Build date: Tue, 28 Jan 2014 22:02:19 +0000 Product Code: OXX PDA: I9505XXUFNAD CSC: I9505OXXFNA2 MODEM: I9505XXUFNAD Download: Discussion...

SM-W750V is Samsung’s Next Windows Phone [LEAKED]

SM-W750V is Samsung’s Next Windows Phone [LEAKED]

Samsung wasn’t as successful with its Windows phone (Ativ) line up as it is with its Android phones. How ever that has not seemed to discourage the South Korean Giants at all as they get ready to introduce their new Windows phone code named Huron (SM-W750V)  this year. Thanks to our leakster friend  evleaks, a picture of the new Samsung Window’s Phone is caught in the wild. According to the leaked specs, the device seems to be around a budget-friendly range with not such a powerful processor. The strange part though is that it sports a Full HD 1080p 5-inch  display. So a budget phone with a 1080p display, sounds interesting doesn’t it? The chip powering the device is a quad-core Snapdragon CPU with the Adreno 305 GPU,, so the question arises that will it be powerful enough to bring out the 1080p display properly. So lets see how the South Korean giant fairs in round two of its Windows phone battle with...
