This is what the Samsung GALAXY S6 might look like – [Leaked Prototype Images]

With the Mobile World Congress less than a month away, everyday we see new rumors surfacing about various OEMs and their next big flagship devices that are to e announced at the mega annual event in Barcelona commencing from March 2nd. A few days back we had mentioned about Samsung’s next flagship device or should we rather say devices now since according to some very strong rumors, Samsung are releasing not one but two variants of its long running line of GALAXY S series with the release of the GALAXY S6 and the S Edge which in our opinion should be somewhat similar to the  Galaxy Note Edge. As of today, our friends at Phone Arena have got their hands on what looks like a prototype of Samsung’s next flagship device. How far these pics are close to the real deal we don’t actually know but if it is in fact true, then the S6, as mentioned earlier, would be wrapped in a metallic uni body frame with a glass rear coating. These are still very early (leaked) images of the device but from the looks of things, they do look quite similar to the GALAXY Alpha series. For now, we’ll just have to wait patiently for the MWC. We’ll keep you guys posted on any further updates and rumors so do stick around. Cheers !!  ...

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge coming soon!

Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge coming soon!

Samsung have faced a decrease in smartphone sales this year. A lot of people were hoping that this would spark a change in the development of their next year’s flagship device. Rumors of a “Project Zero” were indicating that Samsung might be building the next device from scratch. (Fingers crossed for that!) Talking about the name of the device, SamMobile have confirmed that the next flag ship will be called  the Samsung Galaxy 6 (go figure). There will also be a Galaxy S6 Edge variant, seeing how curved displays are the way to go these days. The S6 Edge will most probably have a display similar to the Galaxy Note Edge. Heading to the hardware department, the Galaxy S6 would be having a Quad HD (2560×1440) display, 64-bit Exynos 7420/Snapdragon 810 processor, 16/20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and 32/64/128GB storage. The software side of things would include Samsung’s very own TouchWiz, with the new Theme engine running on top of Android 5.0 Lollipop. The device is sure looking like a beast of a phone, though only time will tell, if it is or is not! All are just rumors at this point, so do take this all in with a pinch of...

HTC One M9 rumored to launch early 2015 with front facing Bose speakers – [Rumors]

HTC One M9 rumored to launch early 2015 with front facing Bose speakers – [Rumors]

Its usually this time of the year when rumors linked to multiple OEMs flagship devices begin to surface. According to some (very early) rumors, HTC have already started working on their upcoming HTC One M9, considered by many as the Taiwanese tech giant’s next flagship device of 2015. From what we have heard so far, the HTC One M9 will most definitely pack a punch so it seems from the initial specs that have been leaked which include the ultra fast and powerful Snapdragon 805 chipset, a 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 display, a 16 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, options of either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, a 3,500mAh battery and much more. On of the surprise exclusions from the upcoming device is the fact that HTC have opted to revert back to traditional shooters instead of the Ultra-Pixel cameras that were rolled out with its flagship predecessors, the HTc One M7 and the HTC One M8. Another major talking point which has certainly raised a few eyebrows is the (possible) affiliation of HTC with renowned audio giants, Bose for manufacturing the device’s front facing speakers, a feature introduced by HTC and now adapted by other OEMs as well including Motorola. Its still not confirmed whether Bose would also be creating any special EQ software or will have a heavy hand in crafting the audio drivers that will go inside the M9, but looking to partner up with one of the biggest names in consumer audio would certainly suggest they’ll be getting as serious as they ever have been about audio considering the company’s earlier affiliation with Beats Audio. There are also rumors on the possible launch of a premium variant of the HTC One M9 which for now is simply known as the, HTC One M9 Prime. As far as the Prime’s tech specs are concerned, there has been no official word on it as yet but we are anticipating it to have an edge over the regular M9 mainly in the hardware/specs department. We’ll keep you guys posted as soon as we get some more insights on HTC’s flagship device of 2015, till then do stick around for more. Cheers...

Samsung GALAXY S6 to have 4K Display, 4GB RAM and a 64bit Octa-Core Processor – [Rumor]

Samsung GALAXY S6 to have 4K Display, 4GB RAM and a 64bit Octa-Core Processor – [Rumor]

When you thought that Samsung’s flagship device of the year the GALAXY S5 was finally getting into the stride, rumors about its successor have already started to surface in South Korea. Few (very early) reports suggest that the sixth family member in the long running and quite successful GALAXY S series is expected to feature hardware that is sure to raise a few eyebrows especially among the non-Samsung believers. From what we have heard, The S6 could very well sport a 5.3″ 4K Super AMOLED Display featuring a massive resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Now in order to provide juice for such a powerful display, Samsung are rumored to bundle their upcoming beast of a smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdrgon 810 Octa-core processor with all eight cores built on the 64-bit architecture which allow the device to stream 4K videos, among other capabilities. If that is not enough to impress you, we have got some more features in line for you. The GALAXY S6 is also expected to feature 4GB of RAM, a powerful 20MP rear shooter, an iris scanner for beefing up your device’s security and also at the same time introducing a whole new way of interacting with the phone, along with bringing some much-needed privacy features. Unlike any of its predecessors, the S6 is expected to be wrapped in a sturdy metallic frame (we are anticipating it to be somewhat similar to the one found in the recently launched Samsung GALAXY Alpha – The first fully metal body marvel by the South Korean tech giants). This is sure to make many individuals happy especially those who tend to always judge Samsung devices by the look and the feel of the device rather than the features that are available under the hood. No matter how expensive or premium a Samsung device currently is, there are certain group of individuals who still feel a tad bit unsatisfied with the plastic feeling that most of these devices have but hopefully with the launch of the GALAXY S6, this notion can finally be put to rest. For now these are the only updates that we have got for you guys. Let me remind you all once again that these are still just very early rumors which might (or might not be ) be true but for now let us just anticipate the arrival of Samsung’s next wonder phone. We should expect to see the flagship device at the next MWC in 2015. Till then we’ll just have to wait !! So what are guys expecting to see from Samsung’s next big thing ? Do share in your thoughts with us in the comments below. Cheers...

Oppo N3 with a side rotating camera [RUMOR]

Oppo N3 with a side rotating camera [RUMOR]

Oppo set a really high standard last year with its Oppo N1 flagship device. Though a lot of people would not have expected, that a phone from a rather unfamiliar company would be see good, right down to the minutes detail of the packaging of the device. Rumors have it that Oppo are coming up with a successor to their last years flagship smartphone. The Oppo N1 was the first Android powered smartphone to have a rotating shooter, that served as a 13 megapixel front and back camera. The new device according to sources will be called the Oppo N3. Kind of weird, considering they jumped straight to the number 3. Where did number 2 go? A few renders of the device have popped up, the recent one really caught our attention. Like you can see the device looks very premium and the body is rumored to be made of some aluminum and lithium mixture. The main talking point about this device though is the camera. As we can see the device has a rotating camera on the side of the device, which slides out when required. As you can see in the device next to it, the camera has been nicely tucked in. Pretty impressive, don’t you think so? Another specification rumors include a 5.9 inch Full HD 1080p display, 3GB RAM and could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor. The device is also likely to come with VOOC rapid charging found in the Oppo Find 7. All these are just rumors at this point, but it would be really cool, if they pan out. Don’t you think? What are your reactions on Oppo’s next innovative smartphone? Yay or...
