Galaxy Note 4 SM-N910F gets Android 5.0.1 Lollipop

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 seems to be the next in line to get  Android 5.0 Lollipop. The 3.4GB update brings with it a whole new minimalistic TouchWiz layout, with all of Lollipop’s goodness which makes the already blazing Note 4 even faster. The messaging, contacts, music, file manager and settings app get an overhaul with light colors that looks really nice on Note 4’s Quad HD Super AMOLED display. The model in these pictures is the SM-N910F (European) variant:     You can always wait for the OTA update to come, but if you cannot wait like me. A Motorola employee posted on Google+ earlier that, users of the 2013 and 2014 Motorola line up will be receiving Android 5.0.2 really soon. Moto X 2014 users have already started to get the update. This is really good news for everybody who have been waiting patiently with KitKat running on their devices. According to Luciano Carvalho, the Android 5.0.2 update is being soak tested in a number of regions and will be available for the masses in no time. CM12 – Android 5.0 is finally here!!

Cyanogen Mod 12 or CM12 which most people know it by, is considered to be one of the most anticipated Android 5.0 Lollipop custom ROMs of 2015. Well, the wait is finally over for all those wanting to get their hands on the new iteration of CM (myself included). Cyanogen Inc. launched CM12 nighties today on a bunch of devices, with the promise of bringing the Lollipop ROM to many more devices in the future. According to them, they have completed 85% on the CM12-M Build, and will continue to add nightlies for more devices and finish CM11.  They will take out one last CM11 M13 build before stopping the (Android 4.4.4) Kit Kat code altogether. The new nightly builds will not have the following features at this point, but will be integrated in future updates. Moto G (first generation) in line to get Android Lollipop update soon

  After successfully rolling out the Android 5.0, Lollipop update on most of its 2014 line of Moto X and Moto G devices, Motorola are now shifting their focus towards their older devices with the Moto G (First Generation) being one of the first names on the list of devices that are scheduled in line on receiving the much talked about and highly anticipated Android OS update released so far. A recent update to Motorola’s Update Services app in Google Play lists preparations for Android Lollipop as one of the big changes in its latest update and has specifically mentioned the first gen Moto G in the list of older Motorola devices that might be getting the latest update. There has not been a mention on any particular release date as yet, but from our past experiences with Moto devices, we do anticipate the fact that the update is most certainly on its way. Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Google Nexus 4 ready to roll out

  We have got some good news for all you Nexus 4 users out there. Google in an official statement have announced that the Nexus 4 would soon be getting the much awaited and the highly anticipated Android 5.0, Lollipop update. The device was initially left out of Google’s plans but after a lot of hue and cry from what seemed to be a large number of Nexus 4 users, Google later rectified their mistake and later clarified that the Nexus 4 would most certainly be getting the update soon.     An Engineering Program Manager at Android has shared on Google+ that build LRX21T is “locked and loaded” for the Nexus 4. He states that the update will be coming “soon,” but he’s not sure exactly when that will be. Even though the dates have not been disclosed as yet, we can only hope it’s sooner rather than later for all of you Nexus 4 users.
