Infinix Releases New Flagship ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus

Infinix Releases New Flagship ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus

Infinix, a leading mobile device manufacturer in more than 20 countries globally, recently released the new flagship ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus mobile phones. Designed to appeal to professional and personal lifestyles of tech-enthusiasts through the perfect configuration of advanced hardware and software. Best described by the moniker “THE PRO”, Zero4 and Zero4 Plus achieve the ultimate professional photo experience. Zero4 boasts a 16-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 lens and an 8-megapixel front camera, optical image stabilization (OIS), laser autofocus (laser AF), and 4x Sharper Zoom. Hardware Ensures High-Performance with the Power of “The Pro”: ZERO4 Plus goes beyond high-performance with a stunning 20.7-megapixel main camera with f/2.0 large aperture and 13-megapixel front-facing camera, all driven by the power of a HELIO X20 10-core TRICLUSTER processor providing lower energy consumption and smooth operation (ZERO4 is equipped with an 8-Core 64-bit high-performance processor). Zero4 Plus offers a configuration of 32GB ROM + 4GB RAM to meet the capacity needs of shooting and storing HD photographs and videos (ZERO4 is equipped with a 32GB+3GB configuration). Automatic camera settings provide convenience, but rarely satisfies the creative or professional photographer. Therefore, Infinix has introduced the new Pro manual adjustment camera interface with ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus. Now, any user can choose between automatic adjustments or an unlimited combination of manual aperture, shutter speed, color, ISO, brightness, and other controls to enrich the visual creation experience. Software and Hardware Combine for More Pro Power: With optical image stabilization (OIS) Zero4 and Zero4 Plus make shooting videos and photos much clearer, even in the least desirable shooting conditions. OIS offsets camera shake with automatic double-axis lens adjustments in the opposite direction of any jitter caused by the screen shaking. Moreover, new optical anti-shake algorithms allows ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus to create an excellent shooting experience by enhancing stability and image quality. The photographic power of Infinix ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus can be further demonstrated by 4X Sharper Zoom and Laser Auto Focus (AF) technology. The camera calculates precise distance via reflection through the emission of a low-power laser to the subject being photographed. An infrared laser sensor next to the camera detects the reflected laser and communicates with the mirror motor to adjust the lens to the appropriate position. Laser AF technology ensures sharper photos for macro photography, low light environments, even when shooting a scene with low-contrast. Additionally, 4X Sharper Zoom technology combined with the f/2.0 large aperture lens will give greater flexibility in the distances possible from the photographer to the subject being photographed. Greater technology enables professionalism and ever dynamic means of challenging conventions. Infinix ZERO4 and ZERO4 Plus are the collision of cutting-edge technology and the professional ideas...

Infinix Note 3 – 6 inch Full HD Display, Metal Body, Finger Print Scanner and 4500mAh battery

Infinix Note 3 – 6 inch Full HD Display, Metal Body, Finger Print Scanner and 4500mAh battery

The Infinix Note 3 is a real step up to its predecessor the Note 2.  After taking it out for a spin, the changes made are more than welcome, even the smallest ones, help improve the overall experience of the device.  The Note 3 comes in two variants a 3G/2GB RAM and 4G/3GB RAM version device. The latter has been titled the Note 3 Pro, rest of the specs are the same. So without further ado, lets get into the nitty gritty! Design The Note 3 has a thickness of only 8.4mm to go along with the large screen. The body is made out of aluminum alloy that lends it a fine textured finish. This is clearly the best looking device Infinix has come out with so far. Display Infinix finally heard our prayers and gave their latest Note device a FULL HD 1080p display (367ppi). Specially with the device having a 6inch display, the resolution bump does matter a lot. The colors are sharp and the blacks are deep, also the display is bright enough for outdoor usage in bright sunlight. Hardware Under the hood lies a 1.3 GHz MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core processor and MT6753 chipset, with 2GB/3GB of RAM depending on the model. After testing the performance, with some graphic intense games like Mortal Kombat X, Clash of Clans, Non Stop Knight, Pokemon Go and my current favorite Clash Royale. All the games ran without any hitch, loading times were fast. On the storage front, the device comes with 16GB internal memory with a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB. The Note 3 is the third Infinix device to sport a finger print sensor at the back, after the HOT S and HOT 4. It is quite accurate and once you get used to the sensor, you will not stop using it. Battery The non re-moveable 4,500 mAh battery managed to handle power hungry games like Pokemon Go and Non stop Knight, and the drop in battery was minimal. The device also has an Aero Space Cooling technology which helps the duo 4.5A charging engines, to charge the device super fast, without the device heating up at any given point. According to Infinix, thanks to X Charging 3.0, 5 minutes of charging allows for 200 minutes of talk time, well our experience is that the battery does charge quite fast (full charge in around 90 minutes) and lasts for almost a day and half with moderate (light gaming, wifi, browsing, constant messaging) usage. Camera The cameras on the Note 3 have been greatly improved, built-in blue glass (BG filters) that reduces flares, in both its 13-megapixel rear camera and...

Infinix officially launch the Hot 4 with a 4000mAh battery and Fingerprint scanner for PKR 12,599

When it comes to phones with great specs at extremely affordable prices, Infinix is one name that at once springs to mind. In the past one year, the brand has been a massive fan favorite mainly due to its different price variants catered to the needs and requirements of the everyday smartphone user. Continuing on that same practice, the Chinese OEM has yet again come up with another beautiful looking device that not only boasts some really good specs, but also at the same time tends to go easy on your wallets as well. Infinix in an exclusive Facebook live event recently launched the Hot 4, which as the name suggests is the fourth device of the highly acclaimed “Infinix Hot” series. Let us now take a closer look at what the Hot 4 has to offer. Display The screen is the most wanted item on the smartphone list. With the Infinix Note, the screen has been given top priority and modified into a spectacular display that shares such depth of clarity with detail so as to stun the viewer. The 5.5 inch 720p HD screen is perfect for entertainment viewers and regular smartphone usage at all times. The 12 ultra-bright backlight LEDs showcases a wonderful bright and clear picture that is adjustable to meet the user’s high standards. Ultra-Quad Core Processor The Infinix mobiles have spread like wildfire in Pakistan due to their attention to detail, more importantly the smartphone processor and improving upon it to produce some stellar results. The Hot 4 sports a 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor along with a Mali-400MP GPU, a perfect blend of speed and power needed for high end gaming and other processing tasks. Camera One of the major focus of smartphones these days are the front and rear cameras. With the selfie trend on the rise and the need of capturing those perfect moments, a good camera is always a plus point. On that similar note, the Hot 4 boasts an 8MP rear camera which captures some really decent shots. On the front of the device you will find a 5MP camera perfect for taking selfies. Smart & Secure Fingerprint Scanner The security protocols that are embedded into the Infinix Hot 4 are certainly a dream come true as the new fingerprint scanner has taken hold. Rather than complicate the entire process with long forgettable passwords and confusing patterns and lines, the simple imprint of the finger is enough for providing access to the owner. It’s simple, easy and takes away all the hard work from the equation. ROM & RAM Memory Expansion The Infinix Hot 4 comes with 16GB of on-board storage with...

Infinix Mobility launches the Infinix Hot S with Finger Print Scanner, Full Metal Body and XOS

Infinix Mobility launches the Infinix Hot S with Finger Print Scanner, Full Metal Body and XOS

Infinix Mobility launched the Infinix Hot S in Pakistan today and with it came a lot of firsts for the mobile manufacturer. The Hot S is Infinix’s first device with a full metal body, the first device to come with a finger print scanner and the very first device to run on their all new XOS software based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Infinix’s CEO and Co – Founder Mr. Andy Yan took to the stage, to take off the curtains on their new device. The Infinix Hot S comes with a 5.2 inch 720p IPS Display on a Full Metal body with a streamline finish. Cortex 1.3 GHz Octa (8) Core processor with 64 bit architecture and a MALI-T720 GPU. On the memory front, the device comes in two models 2GB RAM / 16GB internal memory and a 3GB RAM / 16GB variant. The 3GB RAM edition will be launched at a later undisclosed date. Now lets talk about the camera, the Hot S comes with a 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera with Ultra Pixel technology, front flash light and a 120 degree wide angle selfie shot. It also has a new video recording and editing software called Movie Magic, which is really helpful for those who like to tweak and filter their videos. The finger print sensor on the back adds an extra layer of protection to the device, and from the brief time I spent with the device, I can say the scanner showed around 99% accuracy, which is quite impressive for their first time. The scanner is also placed very well, so it makes unlocking the device very fluid and easy. On the software side of things, the Hot S comes with Infinix’s brand new OS theme, called XOS Chameleon 2.0 running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It is a much improved version of its predecessor XUI, and it really did feel a whole lot snappier too. The new XOS has a lot of changes, some of which include apps such as XHide (Hide Apps for security), Interactive dial and Freezer. Now, the freezer option in particular caught my eye. What it basically does is, keeps unused apps from using the memory in the background. This is very helpful for longer battery life and overall RAM consumption. Talking about the battery the HOT S comes with a 3000 mAh battery which should ideally last you a day. Though we can only confirm once we get our own review device. Other features include, dual sim support with 4G and a MicroSD card slot which can support up to 128GB. The Hot S comes in 5...

Infinix Zero 3 is Infinix’s Most Powerful Device To Date

Infinix Zero 3 is Infinix’s Most Powerful Device To Date

Infinix recently celebrated their one year anniversary in Pakistan and have been continuing to create strides ever since. This year the company again impressed with a bunch of devices catered to different users including the Hot 3, Note 2 and the fan favorite Zero 3 which also happens to be the company’s flagship device of the year. Today we are going to talk about the Zero 3 and take an in depth look at what I like to call the “budget friendly beast” of a phone. Priced at just Rs. 20,899 the Zero 3 sports an impressive 5.5” full HD 1080p display and comes with a mammoth 3GB RAM which is usually found in phones priced comparatively much higher than the Zero 3. The phone is a real power house running on a Media Tek Helio X10 64 bit 2.1 GHz Octa Core processor with a IMG G6200 GPU making multi-tasking quite smooth and HD videos to run without any evident lag. Other specs include a 20MP Sony camera and an 5MP front camera with front facing flash to make those perfect night selfies come out just the way you want them to. As far as the devices memory is concerned, the Zero 3 comes with 16GB of onboard storage with additional support for SD card. Coming to the software side of things, the Zero 3 runs on Android 5.1.1 lollipop with a future update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow currently in the works. On top of it lies Infinix’s own XUI skin, which brings with it some cool features including tap to wake up etc. The device is currently running on XUI version 1.Z.3.3, which brought features such as screen recording and bug fixes. As mentioned earlier, the Infinix Zero 3 comes with a Exymor RS Sony IMX 230 20MP shooter at the back which can record videos up to 4K resolution (30fps). The camera software also features some professional settings if you want to play around with the ISO or shutter speed to get the perfect shot. If not, the auto mode is good enough to take random shots. In order to handle all that power, the Infinix Zero 3 runs on a 3000 mAh, on light or careful (not keeping WiFi or data on whole day) usage, then it will last you a day, but rest assured you would have to still charge the device when you go to sleep. On heavy use (wifi on whole day and gaming) we had to charge the device twice a day. So for people who looking for a longer lasting battery, then they need to consider this point. The Infinix Zero 3 comes in three...
