Unveiling the Slimmer, Lighter and Tougher Infinix Zero 2

Unveiling the Slimmer, Lighter and Tougher Infinix Zero 2

So folks, the Infinix Zero 2 has finally launched in Pakistan. We already gave you a sneak peak of the Zero 2 device and our first impression but now its time to remove the curtains. The Infinix Zero 2 is built keeping in mind 3 things, a slim design, a lighter body and a tough shell. Display and Design   The Infinix Zero 2 comes with a 5 inch Samsung Super AMOLED HD display (1280×720), which shows vibrant colors with very less picture saturation. The contrast ratio is 30000:1 which you can actually tell when watching HD videos. The display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for extra protection. The dimensions of the body are pretty slim (145*71.5*6.5 mm) and weighing just 118 grams, fits in the palm of your hand very well. The back of the device is its main attraction, the Zero 2 comes with a non-removable Kevlar back panel. According to the Infinix team, the material is 5 times stronger and lighter than steel, making the device pretty solid.  As the back panel does not open, the dual sim card tray is on the side of the device. While the other side houses the power button, volume buttons and microSD card tray slot. Under the Hood   The Infinix Zero 2 is no slouch when it comes to performance and power, this is due to the Media Tek 6592T 2.0 GHz Octa – Core processor with Mali 450 700 MHz GPU and 2GB DDR3 RAM. The specs seems capable enough to run even the most graphic hungry games. (Will test it out for our selves a bit later). On the memory front the device has 32GB of internal memory which has now become a standard in flagship devices. The device also houses a microSD card slot which supports up to 32GB. So, lots of memory there, which is a good thing, considering how good the cameras on the device are. Camera   The device houses a 13 Megapixel Samsung S5K3M2 CMOS sensor with f/2.0. This means the lens can take in 18% more light in, when taking pictures in dark places. Another impressive feature is the auto focus time. It is only 0.5 seconds, so the chances of a blurry image go down quite a bit.  The front of the device lies a 5 Megapixel 85 degrees wide angle camera, which when we tested was quite impressive. There are some fun features as well, one being if you think taking pictures by pressing a button or touching the screen is too main stream, then just wave or shout at the camera and it will take the picture. Cool right? Software...

Infinix Pakistan gives bloggers a sneak peak of the Zero 2

Infinix had invited a few bloggers to get a sneak peak of their upcoming device the Zero 2. We don’t want to go in too much detail about the device before its launch, but our first impression was a pretty positive one. The device itself feels pretty sturdy thanks to its Kevlar back and bright Super AMOLED HD display. Florent Meng, Senior Digital Marketing Manager, had this to say; “Infinix is a brand whose structure is to focus on quality and not on quantity. They do not want to be like Samsung or QMobile who take out model after model. They want to have a much focused approach similar to Apple. In other words, We can do better when focused”. Jackie Peng, Business Development Manager talked more about the device itself and what also gave us the news that their first device the Infinix Hot Note will be getting Android 5.1 Lollipop in a few weeks. The beta version is already up on their website if anybody wants to try it out (be warmed we have tried it and its quite buggy). Well make sure you tune in back for our launch coverage and the hands on. Till then...

Infinix Hot Note Camera Test

Infinix Hot Note Camera Test

The Infinix Hot Note houses a 8 MP Omni Vision 8865 image sensor, which according to them is great for low light pictures. The front of the device has a 2MP 75 degree wide lens shooter, for the selfie lovers out there. We thought of testing the camera out for our selves. Look at the pictures below and decide for your self. The night time pictures have a white hue to them, which makes the picture look a bit faded. The flash though is quite powerful and the picture comes pretty nicely even when it is a complete black out. The macro shots are very impressive and day time shots are pretty decent (front and back). There are various modes to choose from, they include HDR, Beauty Face, Multi Angle View, Motion Tracker and much more. Macro Shot Auto – Scenery Auto  – Day Time Night Mode Front Camera  with...
