We all know the impact that Phablets seem to be having these days with every other OEM coming up with their own variants in abundance. Nokia have also recently entered the Phablet market with its two new entrants that accompany the long list of the impressive Lumia range of Windows based smartphones. On that note, Nokia Pakistan recently launched the new Nokia Lumia 1520 and Nokia Lumia 1320, which are a marvel in imaging technology and brings the colorful Lumia experience on six-inch large displays. Nokia and HTC finally come to terms on LTE patents; ending months of fighting

After months of relentless fighting and legal battles, it seems like the (never ending) patent wars between Nokia and HTC are finally coming to a halt. In a recent turn of events, the Finnish cellular giants have agreed to sign a new “technology and collaboration agreement” with HTC. According to a press release by Nokia, both companies have mutually agreed upon HTC’s LTE patent portfolio along with a few other patents that had initially started the war between two of the world’s leading cell phone giants. Its been almost a month since the rumors regarding Nokia’s first Android device code-named the Nokia Normandy (also known as the Nokia X) emerged that raised quite a few eyebrows mostly due to the fact that Nokia through out the years has been keeping their distance when it comes to adopting Android for their devices but now it seems that the tides might be about to get turned sooner rather than later. Nokia to launch its First Android Based Smartphone – Nokia Normandy [Rumor]

As we all know, Nokia and Google through out the years haven’t seen eye to eye with each other and that is mainly the reason why we haven’t come across any Nokia devices running on Google’s popular Linux based (open source) Android Operating System. Things might be about to change now according to a few spicy insights that we have come across with today. According to @evleaks, Nokia are now implicating towards the possible launch of their very first (slightly lower priced) Android based device called the “Nokia Normandy”. Nokia as we all know partnered with Microsoft for their Lumia range of Windows Phone devices, but after the takeover of the Finnish cellular giants by Microsoft themselves, we are not too sure how this whole Android move is going to go down with Microsoft keeping in mind the recent online wars between Google and Microsoft especially after Microsoft’s recent Scroogled campaign against their long term nemesis. These are still just very early rumors that we have come across with and there has been no official announcement by Nokia on the news as well.
