SkyElectric bring’s to Pakistan its first Smart Solar Energy System

SkyElectric Inc. launched its Smart Energy System in Pakistan at an event held in the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad on the 27th of February 2017. The event was attended by members of the government, energy sector, corporate executives, homeowners, academia, green architects and builders. The CEO started off with a presentation on the energy crisis in the developing world, and why the system was the right building block for a new form of clean power infrastructure. He demonstrated how the Smart Energy System has multiple features which allow it to be the most advanced solar and storage energy system in the global market. Ashar Aziz, CEO of SkyElectric gave a demonstration of the Smart Energy System, in which the audience was treated to a live interaction with the Smart Energy Console, the heart of the system. The Smart Energy Console is a touch screen interface, which gives insight into system operations. It has built-in 3G chip and WiFi connectivity, which allows the software to relay system information to the SkyElectric Cloud.  Technical support personnel in a Network Operations Centre have access to the cloud and can remotely monitor and diagnose faults on the system. Additionally there is an accompanying SkyElectric App, which provides the same level of visibility as the Smart Energy Console. Being a research-based forum – ‘Brand Finance’ specializes in Brand Valuation and the valuation of Intangible Assets. It evaluates the performance of world-leading brands and measures their potential. In 2016, Huawei was ranked 47th in the same ranking report, whereas this year its performance has risen by 7 ranks to take the 40th spot in the list. Kingston have launched the world’s first 2TB portable flash drive

CES 2017 kicks off today in Las Vegas and we simply cannot wait to see what exciting gadgets the different companies have in store for us. Kingston for example decided to make a major announcement a day earlier when the company announced the new DataTraveler Ultimate GT which is the world’s first 2TB USB flash drive. The sleek looking device sports a flashy design with a zinc-alloy metal casing, which the company claims improves shock resistance. The drive has the capacity to store 70 hours of 4K video content. “With the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, we empower users to increase their data storage mobility in a highly manageable form factor,” Jean Wong, Kingston’s Flash business manager, said in a news release. “This is a terrific follow up to our 1TB drive released in 2013, and by doubling the capacity, users can store and carry even larger amounts of data easily.” Along with a 2TB model, the DataTraveler Ultimate GT also comes in a 1TB capacity. The flash drive is about 2-¾-in (72mm) x 1 1/16-in (26.94mm) x ¾-in (21mm) in size. The thumb drives come with a five-year warranty and is compatible with Windows 7 (SP1) and higher, Mac OS v.10.9.x+, Linux v.2.6.x+, and Chrome OS.
