Huawei has been ranked 40th  on the ‘Most Valuable Brands’ list within the Global 500 ranking of 2017, released by the prestigious ‘Brand Finance’ platform. Being a research-based forum – ‘Brand Finance’ specializes in Brand Valuation and the valuation of Intangible Assets. It evaluates the performance of world-leading brands and measures their potential. In 2016, Huawei was ranked 47th in the same ranking report, whereas this year its performance has risen by 7 ranks to take the 40th spot in the list. Last year, Huawei’s Brand-Value was estimated at 19,743 Million US Dollars and in 2017 Huawei’s Brand Value has risen to US $ 25,230 Million. In 2016, Huawei’s Brand Ranking was ‘AA’, which has now risen ‘AAA-‘. This reflects a tremendous improvement in Huawei’s Brand performance, as this global leader in technologies has continued to innovate and create fascinating devices and pioneering solutions, that can meet the fast-evolving needs of the modern-day consumers of telecommunications and digital connectivity. ‘Brand Finance’ calculates ‘Brand Value’ by determining the value a company would be willing to pay to license its brand, as if it did not own it. This approach involves estimating the future revenue attributable to a brand and calculating a royalty-rate that would be charged for the use of the brand. Multiple attributes such as; emotional connection, financial performance and sustainability, etc are taken in to account. The brand performance is bench-marked against competitor brands, while several kinds of financial analyses are also conducted. Kingston have launched the world’s first 2TB portable flash drive

CES 2017 kicks off today in Las Vegas and we simply cannot wait to see what exciting gadgets the different companies have in store for us. Kingston for example decided to make a major announcement a day earlier when the company announced the new DataTraveler Ultimate GT which is the world’s first 2TB USB flash drive. The sleek looking device sports a flashy design with a zinc-alloy metal casing, which the company claims improves shock resistance. The drive has the capacity to store 70 hours of 4K video content. “With the DataTraveler Ultimate GT, we empower users to increase their data storage mobility in a highly manageable form factor,” Jean Wong, Kingston’s Flash business manager, said in a news release. “This is a terrific follow up to our 1TB drive released in 2013, and by doubling the capacity, users can store and carry even larger amounts of data easily.” Along with a 2TB model, the DataTraveler Ultimate GT also comes in a 1TB capacity. The flash drive is about 2-¾-in (72mm) x 1 1/16-in (26.94mm) x ¾-in (21mm) in size. The thumb drives come with a five-year warranty and is compatible with Windows 7 (SP1) and higher, Mac OS v.10.9.x+, Linux v.2.6.x+, and Chrome OS.
