Telenor Rawaan takes you on a never before seen musical journey across Pakistan

Telenor Rawaan takes you on a never before seen musical journey across Pakistan

There is no denying the fact that Pakistan is filled with tremendous natural beauty and a plethora of cultural diversities. This was recently highlighted in a delightful music video called “Rawaan” sponsored by Telenor in which some of the major tourist attractions of the country have been highlighted. The video portrays the journey of a music producer who is in the midst of capturing some of the most breath taking sights and sounds of the country. The video not only promotes various cultures but at the same time also spreads the message of love and peace in a manner that is not only serene but at the same time quite soothing to the soul as well. The music composed in the video is a perfect blend of Sufi poetry and local folk songs stringed together in a single truly mesmerizing bundle. With the recent acquisition of the 4G spectrum, Telenor has come a long way from just being a simple network provider and has taken into its stride to not only provide their customers with the best services but in the process of doing so, also bridge the gap between various cultures of the country. In order to cater the high demanding communication needs of the country, Telenor Rawaan is most certainly a step in the right direction. It is a metaphorical manifestation of this very endeavor. The mystical voyage for enlightenment mirrors Telenor’s own philosophy of looking within the customer. Traveling across the land, it becomes evident how every region and its people have their own unique flavor and it is precisely these striking differences that unite us. In the way a garden unites all varieties of flowers rooted in the same soil. This symbolizes precisely how Telenor recognizes the differences that make each of its customers unique and allows Telenor to deliver customized, personal solutions. And finally the epic journey of self-discovery signifies Telenor’s own limitless journey driven by the ambition to fulfill its core value; ‘Customer First’. How well does the Galaxy Note 7 survive these drop tests – [Video]

How well does the Galaxy Note 7 survive these drop tests – [Video]

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one of the first devices that come with the all new Gorilla Glass 5 which the company claims to be four times more durable than its predecessor and the current competition. According to recent lab tests, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 survives up to 80 percent of the time when dropped face-down from 1.6 meters onto rough surfaces, far outperforming competitive glass designs. Well that claim has been put to test by our friends at XEETECHCARE who did a drop test with a brand new Galaxy Note 7. After conducting several drop tests from different heights, the front glass managed to survive every drop but much to our surprise, the glass at the back of the device got cracked in just the first drop which does raise a few eyebrows considering the fact Samsung have used the exact same glass on both sides. This proves that no matter how strong and durable the companies claim their phone display’s to be, at the end of the day one thing does stand out….Glass does Shatter!! For those of you who are planning to purchase this otherwise amazing device are advised to purchase a good quality back cover as well as a screen protector to save your device from any unfortunate mishaps as far as cracking or damaging your phone is concerned. The Galaxy Note 7 is set to arrive worldwide starting August...

How to play PS4 games on your Android device – [Video]

How to play PS4 games on your Android device – [Video]

One of the perks of owning a PS4 is the remote play functionality that the console offers. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Remote Play, here’s a quick look. The Remote Play feature lets users cast their consoles content on any external device such as a laptop, tablet and even a smartphone. Till now, the feature only worked on certain Sony devices and required other phones to be rooted for the app to work. As of today, things are about to change thanks to our friends at XDA developers who have come up with a modified version of the app that runs on any device running Android 4.0 or higher. Just follow these few simple steps and you’ll be good to go: On your Android device, go to Settings > Security and turn on Unknown Sources Visit XDA-Developers and download the modified PS4 Remote Play app When the download finishes, go to Downloads on your device and tap the Remote Play apk file Follow the on-screen instruction to install the app Turn on your PS4 Open the Remote Play and tap Next Log into you PSN account The application will then connect to your PS4 Once the connection is made, you’ll see the content from your PS4 on your Android device with a virtual controller below it. If you rotate your device to landscape mode, the PS4 content will rotate and fill the display with the controls overlaid on top. While the PS4 Remote Play feature works perfectly fine, it can be a bit slow and laggy at times if your WiFi network is bogged down. For best performance, we recommend that your PS4 is wired into your router. There is also the option to reduce the stream resolution in the PS4 Remote Play app on your Android device. So the next time you’re in the mood to play but the rest of the family has taken over the TV, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. For those of you who give this a try, do share your experiences with us in the comments below. Cheers!! Source:...

Samsung officially announce the Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage only for China

Samsung officially announce the Galaxy Note 7 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage only for China

There is absolutely no doubt in the fact that the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note7 is by far the best looking Android smartphone of 2016. Even though the phone offers some really amazing features including an Iris scanner, some people were left disappointed at the fact that the device did not come with 6GB RAM as it was being anticipated since quite some time. Well, we can officially confirm today that Samsung are indeed going to launch a 6GB variant of their flagship device that will come with 128GB of on-board storage. Unfortunately, the device would only be available in China as the company wants to enter into competition with some of the other Chinese brands that are offering devices with similar hardware. This has upset local consumers because the Galaxy Note7 is launched with 64GB built-in memory and 4GB RAM in the global markets including South Korea. Here’s what Mr. Koh Dong-jin, the head of the tech giant’s mobile business had to say at a launch event for the Galaxy Note 7 in Seoul; “It is true that we are reviewing the rollout of a new tablet with 128 gigabyte built-in memory in China because Chinese companies are aggressively doing marketing with high-capacity memory,”  “We will accept diverse opinions from various regions and also consider whether that move will disappoint Korean consumers,” he added. Pricing and availability is yet to be ascertained for the upgraded variant but considering the $850 price tag on the 64GB version, we do expect this one to be somewhere close to the $1000 mark. Will keep you guys posted on any further...

Consume less data on Chrome using Google Data Saver – [How-to Guide]

Consume less data on Chrome using Google Data Saver – [How-to Guide]

With a continuous rise in mobile data usage in recent times, the fear of consuming your entire data plan keeps looming in your mind. For this, Google has come up with a good solution that lets you reduce the amount of data Chrome uses on your Android mobile device, computer, or Chromebook by using Data Saver. Please note that Data Saver isn’t available for iPhones or iPads. How Data Saver works When you use Data Saver, most of your web traffic goes through Google servers before being downloaded to your device. Less data gets downloaded to your device, because Google servers will compress it. Note: Even with Data Saver, you won’t reduce the amount of data you’re downloading when you’re on secure pages, whose addresses start with https, or Incognito pages. With Data Saver turned on: Some websites might not be able to accurately determine your location. Some images might look a little fuzzy. Internal websites, such as your company’s internal sites, might not load. Sites that your mobile carrier uses to authenticate and bill you might not work. For example, you might have trouble logging in to your mobile phone provider’s website. Local settings will be ignored if you manually modified your /etc/hosts file. Turn on Data Saver Android device Open the Chrome app . Tap More Settings. Under “Advanced,” tap Data Saver. Slide the switch ON. You can switch this off at any time. Computers and Chromebooks You can use the Data Saver extension if you’re running Chrome version 48 or higher. Turn on Data Saver: Install the Data Saver extension from Chrome Web Store. Data Saver should be turned on by default. If it’s not, click Turn On Data Saver. Turn off Data Saver: Open Chrome. In the top right, click Data Saver . Click Turn Off Data Saver. Safer Chrome browsing on mobile devices When you turn on Data Saver for your phone or tablet, Chrome uses Safe Browsing technology to protect you from malware and phishing attacks. Chrome will warn you if you’re about to visit a dangerous site. Safe Browsing is always available on Chrome for your computer and Chromebooks. Source:...
